The NDHSRA membership and National membership application forms must be completed before membership is granted. Dues are $150 and must accompany BOTH applications, along with a copy of your MOST CURRENT report card--unless you competed at the 2010 NDHSRA State Finals Rodeo. Another requirement of membership is to sell at least $50 in brand ads that must be turned in by the second rodeo in the spring. Other advertising that student members sell must be received in the office by May 15th in order to be published in the State Finals program. The NDHSRA Marketing Director will also have some type of fundraiser that the students will be able to participate in to get their state entry fees paid, make travel money to Nationals and other incentive money, and help support the association.

NOTE REGARDING NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP FORM: If parents are divorced and one has full custody, it must be noted on page 2; if the parents share custody the form MUST be signed and notarized for both! NO exceptions!! If a parent is deceased, please also note that on the forms.

The top 24 in each event will be eligible to compete at the state finals rodeo held in Bowman over Father's Day weekend. Entries for the North Dakota State Finals rodeo will take place at the New Salem rodeo; after each event has been completed students must report to the secretary office to fill out their entry forms and get pictures taken. Students competing at the state finals rodeo will have to submit their final grade reports for the current school year--before being allowed to compete. The top four contestants following the completion of the state finals are eligible to compete at the National High School Finals rodeo. The NHSRA Finals rodeo will be held in Gillette, WY in 2010 & 2011, and Springfield, IL for 2012 & 2013.
