Hello NDHSRA Members! We will again have a few ways for you to earn money by participating in the NON-MANDATORY FUNDRAISING INCENTIVE PROGRAM. This program was set up to encourage fundraising throughout the membership, as well as to provide a way for members to earn money for themselves. Here’s how it works: 1)
If a member wishes
to be eligible for National travel money, free National and/or State
Finals apparel (jackets, shirts, etc.), paid state entry fees, or Incentive
Money, that member must sell $100 in Fundraisers. If
a member does not wish to be eligible for any of these things they do not
need to participate in fundraising other than MANDATORY BRAND-ADS. 2) After a member sells $100 worth of raffle tickets or calendars they are eligible to receive National Travel Money, National and or State Team Apparel, Paid State Entry Fees, and Incentive Money. You may choose one or both of these fundraisers to participate in. 3)
INCENTIVE MONEY FOR RAFFLE AND CALENDAR SALES:
Members who sell MORE than $100 are eligible to receive $.40 on the dollar
(40% of sales after $100) into an account in their name. The money each member earns will be paid
out via check on Sunday at the State Finals at the General Meeting. So if
a member sells 100 raffle tickets they will receive a check back for $360
at State. The only MANDATORY fundraiser is Brand-Ads. You are still required to sell FIVE BRAND ADS, or write a check to Teresa for $50 by the Killdeer Rodeo next spring. These are separate from the other fundraisers, so they do not count toward your $100; however, you can earn incentive money from them after the initial $50 sales. I hope this program can offer “Something for everyone” and will be successful. We hope to have the raffle tickets ready by Elgin and the calendars ready by Watford City. | BRAND ADS |
The first $50 is mandatory, and they are due at or before the Killdeer Rodeo in the Spring. Every member must sell at
least 5 - $10.00 ads or pay $50 by that rodeo. You can sell as much advertising as you'd like--additional forms are available on the website to download. May 15th is the deadline for getting all ads in to the NDHSRA office. Brand ads have been added to the incentive payout program for 2007-2008. You will receive 40% of your sales after the first $50 sold that are mandatory for everyone to sell.

| RAFFLE TICKETS |
You can return ticket stubs and money to Teresa Jorgenson or Gene Harris; contact the NDHSRA office if you need more tickets. Raffle ticket money and stubs will be turned in by the New Salem rodeo--no exceptions! You will not be allowed to sell beyond that time as we need to be able to get the incentive figured out before the state rodeo.

| 2008 CALENDARS |
We are making 2008 calendars for members to sell; group pictures of each event will be taken in Elgin following the MANDATORY contestant meeting. Each month of the calendar will feature a group photo of an event, along with an action shot of last year's champion. These will sell for $10 and we hope to have them available by the Watford City rodeo. Calendar sales will be finished by the New Salem rodeo--no exceptions! You will not be allowed to sell beyond that time as we need to be able to get the incentive figured out before the state rodeo. |
